1. Who we are

Daycount is a trading name of Northfin Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales with company number 15923969, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. You can contact us at enquiries@daycount.co.uk.

2. What these terms cover

These terms apply when you make a payment to us, by bank transfer, towards a claim set out in a letter we have sent you. They also apply to your use of this website.

3. The claims

We hold, by assignment from a company in liquidation, that company's rights to statutory interest and fixed sums under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 in respect of invoices your business paid late. Our letter sets out each invoice and how the amount was calculated. Paying does not affect your right to raise a query or dispute about the calculation afterwards.

4. Making a payment

Please quote the reference from your letter. A payment is treated as received when it reaches our account. We will confirm receipt where we have contact details for you.

We do not charge any fee for paying by bank transfer.

5. Settlements and payment arrangements

Any agreed settlement for less than the full amount, or any arrangement to pay by instalments, is only binding once we confirm it to you in writing.

6. Refunds

See our refund policy.

7. Queries, disputes and complaints

If you think any part of the claim is wrong, tell us at enquiries@daycount.co.uk with your reference and any supporting documents. We review what you send before taking any further step. For complaints about how we have dealt with you, see our complaints procedure.

8. Your information

How we use personal information is explained in our privacy notice.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
