Refund policy

Last updated 4 November 2026. Draft for review

Payments to us settle amounts owed under statutory late payment claims. They are not purchases of goods or services, so there is no cooling-off period. We will refund you in the following situations.

When we refund

  • Overpayment: you paid more than the amount due on your account.
  • Duplicate payment: you paid the same amount twice, for example two bank transfers for the same reference.
  • Payment in error: you paid us by mistake, for example quoting the wrong reference or paying the wrong supplier.
  • Claim corrected or withdrawn: after reviewing evidence you send us, we reduce or withdraw the claim after you have paid. We refund the difference.

How to ask for a refund

Email enquiries@daycount.co.uk with your reference, and the date and amount of the payment. We will reply within 5 working days.

How refunds are paid

Once a refund is agreed, we pay it within 10 working days, by bank transfer back to the account the payment came from. We do not charge for refunds.
